Prompt
For each top organic competitor domain provided in {competitor-domains} or identified earlier in this conversation, use Semrush Traffic Analytics audience overlap to find which domains the competitor's audience also visits — analyze one competitor at a time (up to 5 competitors), returning the top 5 overlapping domains per competitor.
Use {competitor-domains} if provided.
If {competitor-domains} are not provided, use competitor domains identified earlier in this use case as top organic/search competitors, strongest keyword-overlap competitors, or cluster-level competitors.
If both {competitor-domains} and previously identified competitors are available, combine them, remove duplicates, and limit to the 5 most relevant top organic/search competitors.
Ignore competitor mentions that were not identified as top organic/search competitors unless they are explicitly included in {competitor-domains}.
If no competitor domains are provided or available from earlier in this use case, ask the user to provide up to 5 competitor domains or run a previous workflow first to identify top organic competitors.
This returns the top 5 domains whose audiences overlap most with the selected competitor. Call once per competitor.
Build a consolidated table:
| Competitor | Top Overlapping Domain | Overlap Score | Shared Users | Audience Signal |
* Overlap Score: share of competitor's audience that also visits the overlapping domain (format as %)
* Shared Users: count of users visiting both domains
* Audience Signal: infer from the overlapping domain's category (e.g., developer-site.com -> developer/technical; linkedin.com -> professional B2B; reddit.com -> community-driven research)
* Exclude universal platforms (e.g., YouTube, LinkedIn, ChatGPT, Google, Reddit) — they appear across all markets and don't signal meaningful audience differentiation.
After the table:
* shared_audience_hubs: domains appearing in top-5 overlaps for 3+ competitors (broad audience touchpoints — priority backlink / content placement targets)
* unique_overlaps: domains appearing in top-5 for only 1 competitor (competitor-specific segments — niche placement opportunities)
* 2-3 bullets: where {your-domain.com} should pursue backlinks or content partnerships to intercept the competitor's audience — prioritize shared_audience_hubs for broad reach, unique_overlaps for competitor-specific segments
Complete all calls before returning the final table.
Example Output (illustrative)
- A table of top overlapping domains per competitor — overlap score, shared users, and inferred audience signal (excluding universal platforms)
- Shared audience hubs and unique overlaps, with 2–3 bullets on where {your-domain.com} should pursue backlinks or content partnerships
